We are committed to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all of our pupils so they can learn in a relaxed and secure atmosphere. Bullying of any kind is unacceptable at our school. If bullying does occur, all pupils should be able to tell and know that incidents will be dealt with promptly and effectively. We are a TELLING school. This means that anyone (children, staff, parents) who knows that bullying is happening is expected to tell the staff. At Christ Church C of E Primary School, there is no such thing as ‘just a bit of bullying’ - every incident needs to be investigated and dealt with. Bullying can have its roots in hate or prejudice-biased attitudes; school will deal with each occurrence seriously.
This is at the heart of our SHINE values, which are:
Success
Happy
Included
Nurtured
Enriched

E-Safety
Over the years, technology has revolutionised our world and daily lives.
Children spend more time online and while the internet is a great way for children to play, learn new things and to stay in touch with family and friends. However, it can also bring risks. Now - more than ever - it’s important to talk to your child about staying safe online and about the apps and sites they’re using.
CEOP has developed a series of home activity packs with simple 15 minute activities parents can do with their child to support their online safety, at a time when they will be spending more time online at home.
Packs are aimed at the following age groups: Primary: 4-5, 5-7 and 8-10
