How we will communicate with parents
In the unlikely event of a lockdown, the school will communicate with parents as soon as it is safe and practicable to do so. We will always aim to provide clear and accurate information to help reduce unnecessary worry.
During a lockdown, parents are asked to:
- Be reassured that the school understands concerns for children’s welfare and will be doing everything possible to keep them safe
- Not contact the school, as phone lines must remain available for emergency services
- Not come to the school site, as this could put people at risk and interfere with emergency responders
- Wait for the school to contact you with further information, including when and where children can be safely collected
All communication will be sent via Arbor, so please ensure your contact details are up to date.
