Religious Education at Christ Church CofE

As a Church of England school, Religious Education (RE) plays a central role in our curriculum and ethos. It reflects our Christian foundation while also fostering respect, understanding, and appreciation of a wide range of religious and non-religious worldviews. Through RE, we aim to support pupils’ spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development in an inclusive and thoughtful environment.

Parents/carers have the legal right to withdraw their child from all or part of RE lessons. If you are considering this, we encourage you to speak with the Headteacher to discuss your concerns and explore how we can support your child’s education in line with your wishes.
